One million documents mi­gra­ted: New Le­gal In­for­ma­tion Sys­tem in pi­lot ope­ra­tion

November 20, 2023, marks a milestone in the development of the “New Legal Information System (NeuRIS)”: The pilot operation of the new documentation environment has begun at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe (BGH) and the first documentation units have been successfully submitted. This project update provides background information on the preparatory work that had to be carried out for the pilot operation, the initial findings, and how the NeuRIS project as a whole is progressing.
