How the National Regulatory Control Council is helping to co-create the Digitalcheck
“The Digitalcheck documentation is always the first thing I open during an audit,” says Yannick Vogel, Deputy Head and Audit Officer at the Secretariat of the National Regulatory Control Council (NKR). Together with Dr. Patrick Eckner, he is one of the auditors of the Digitalcheck. However, both are not only auditors, but also developers: together with the DigitalService and under the leadership of the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI), the NKR and its working level, the NKR Secretariat, provide impetus for the further development of the Digitalcheck. Yannick and Patrick met with us for an interview and explain how they experience the collaboration, why the Digitalcheck is important from the NKR's point of view and what else they would like to see in the legislative process in Germany.
