Within four years, in the 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024 financial years, the German government has spent 16.6 billion euros on digitalizing its administration. But what concrete added value have the measures financed with this money actually created?

Joshua Pacheco

coordinates the strategic knowledge work and political communication of DigitalService. He previously researched public value creation at the University of Edinburgh. Until 2022, he headed the Tech4Germany fellowship program and was responsible for cooperation with the state and local government at CityLAB Berlin as well as the development of the “Öffentliches Gestalten” methods manual.
